AML & KYC Policy
Last updated: May 27, 2026
Aurum Prime is committed to preventing money laundering, terrorism financing, fraud, and the use of our Services for any unlawful purpose. This policy summarizes the controls we apply.
1. Customer Due Diligence
- All customers are screened against international sanctions and PEP lists at onboarding and on an ongoing basis.
- For higher-risk transactions (large crypto purchases, unusual patterns), we may request additional documentation such as government-issued ID, proof of address, or source-of-funds.
- We reserve the right to refuse, delay, or unwind any transaction that cannot be satisfactorily verified.
2. Prohibited Customers
We do not knowingly do business with persons or entities located in, or subject to, comprehensive sanctions (including OFAC-designated jurisdictions), or persons listed on the UN, EU, UK, or US consolidated sanctions lists.
3. Payment Channels
Card and bank payments are processed by regulated PSPs (Stripe, Paddle) that apply their own AML controls. Crypto payments are monitored using on-chain analytics to detect funds originating from mixers, darknet markets, or sanctioned addresses. Transactions flagged as high-risk are held pending review or refunded.
4. Reporting
We cooperate with law enforcement and competent authorities and will file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) where required by applicable law. We will not tip off any customer that a report has been filed.
5. Record Keeping
Customer records and transaction logs are retained for a minimum of five (5) years after account closure, or longer where required by law.
